Debra is passionate about working as a proactive team member with children and their families in order to make a critical difference in the communication skills and lives of children. She has over 25 years of experience working exclusively with children in a variety of settings. Debra's expertise stems from working with children in pediatric outpatient medical centers, preschool programs, the public school system, and in the home. Debra specializes in treating communication disorders related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language impairments, and social-pragmatic language disorders.
Debra received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Indiana University, and her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Cincinnati. Debra is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Colorado, and she holds a Professional Special Services License through the Colorado Department of Education.
In her free time, Debra enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, skiing, yoga, and traveling.
