Owner and Occupational Therapist
Erin has more than 17 years of clinical experience working with children of various diagnoses in the outpatient and private practice settings. She relocated to Colorado from Richmond, Virginia in the summer of 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2002 and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006. She worked at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU in the outpatient setting for 8 years before transitioning to private practice in Denver. She opened SensAbilities in August, 2021. Erin’s favorite activities outside of OT include hiking, running, playing cribbage, and yoga sculpt.
A leading factor in pointing Erin to a career in pediatric OT was her own struggles as a child dealing with many of the sensory and learning issues she now treats. She has first hand knowledge of what challenges these children are facing in their day to day lives and can draw on her personal experiences to help them in overcoming those obstacles.
Erin's areas of focus include reflex integration, emotional regulation, neurodevelopment, sensory processing, vision skills, motor skills and coordination, ADHD, and learning challenges.
